How I use the Google Ads API.

I am Stefan Riemeyer, an independent Google Ads consultant (registered sole proprietorship in Berlin, Germany). I manage paid search and shopping campaigns for e-commerce businesses across the DACH region. The Google Ads accounts I manage for clients sit under my Google Ads manager account, and I use the official Google Ads API to run reporting and campaign management across them.

Reporting (read)

The tooling pulls campaign, ad-group, keyword, search-term, budget, and conversion data from the Google Ads API into local performance reports that I use to analyse and steer each account.

II.

Campaign management (write)

It also applies the optimisations I decide on: budget and bid-target changes, pausing or enabling campaigns and ads, keyword updates, and adding negative keywords. The campaign types I work with are Search, Shopping, and Performance Max.

Reviewed by me, every time

Every write operation is first validated in a dry run and personally reviewed and approved by me before it is applied to a live account. Nothing is changed automatically without my approval (human-in-the-loop).

IV.

Internal, single-operator, confidential

The tooling is internal and operated only by me. Clients and third parties have no access to it. It connects through my own OAuth credentials and the appropriate manager account, and client account data is never passed on to anyone.

Client Google Ads data is handled confidentially, in line with the Google Ads API Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy.
